My younger self professing shattered is beautiful! Blank watercolor paper was taken into the rain to capture drops of water and liquid watercolors, created from dried out felt tip markers, are added to the raindrops. The Source inspires me to create layers of the created watercolors in orange and green before layering a simple line drawing of myself framed by the cracks that allow light to shine through.
Each work includes an element of ecological repurposing where I turn unlikely items into creative material. I engage with the Source of all life to lead my process, color choices, and inspiration.
